Alpine Ridge Orchard located in Brooklyn WI, just west of town on Alpine Rd, is a 'come to pick some apples, but partake in all the extras' orchard experience!  Brandon, Jennifer, and their three kiddos have grown their small potential future orchard idea into a fall staple experience that many families are coming back to every year.  From the donuts and cider made fresh onsite, to the cornmaze, farm animals, pumpkins, and play structure, when you come to pick some apples, plan to stay for a while!

Still Point Flower Farm is a 10-acre farm located in the Town of Brooklyn, just off of State Road 92.  Penny and Phil Molina aquired the property in 2016 and have spent the previous 8 seasons exploring the world of flower farming and agritourism.  The lessons they''ve learned from the experiences they've had are invaluable when it comes to hosting events on your farm.  They have a beautiful property with a unique passive solar greenhouse, picturesque log cabin, and a welcoming harvest house outbuilding, not to mention the flower production field and gardens in multiple areas around the grounds.  It was a wonderful visit and great conversation!

Snug Haven Farm is located in the driftless hills on the north side of Belleville.  Bill Warner and Judy Hageman of Snug Haven have dedicated their lives to organic farming.  Not only do they practice it on their own farm, but they also go above and beyond to help support and promote locally grown organic products in our area.  Snug Haven is a long standing member of the Dane County Farmers Market and Bill and Judy are both highly respected organic farmers in South Central WI.  They utilize hoop houses in ways that are somewhat unconventional, but have perfected a process to get fresh veggies throughout the coldest months in Wisconsin.  The Snug Haven frost sweetened produce is a must try if you haven’t already, especially their spinach and carrots!  I was honored to spend time on their farm and sit down with them for a chat!

Stand Tall Garden is located in the historic district of Evansville. Jake and Janelle have a beautiful house on a half acre lot, which they have organized to produce an abundance of organic, flavor packed veggies right in the urban setting. It's amazing how much they have to offer on such a small amount of square footage. Not only do they offer CSA options, but they also generously donate produce to the local food pantry.

Molly Stentz and John Peck have recently aquired a 20 acre slice of heaven in Brooklyn, WI with which they are using to continue to operate Yellow Dog Flowers and Produce.  Molly has a wealth of experience working with/on farms and in the food industry, while John is educated in environmental science and is an advocate for marginalized farmers; their passion for growing produce and flowers organically on a diversified farm is making the transition from leased land to owned land worth the effort it is taking!
